Danny operates a unique private piano teaching studio in the heart of Melbourne. The purpose of the studio is to provide students with outstanding quality private piano tuition from highly qualified, established and friendly pianists.
Conveniently located near the Victorian College of the Arts in Southbank, amongst picturesque gardens, our innovative studio is the perfect place to find musical inspiration and a develop a true passion for the instrument!
We believe in establishing and nurturing a strong foundation of intrinsic motivation in every student, just like our teachers instilled in us. We also believe that music is passion! And to be successful, you have to love what you're doing. Thus, we always instill a sense of enjoyment and love for the craft of music, that students carry with them, often even into other aspects of their life.
We also believe that a strong technical foundation is essential for the development of all levels and forms of piano playing. We also understand that the requirements of each student are inherently diverse, and hence take a highly differentiated and flexible approach to learning. But above all, we believe that every student should have a blast on their journey to mastering the instrument!
Students will be playing on a beautiful, well-maintained and rare European ‘August Forster’ upright piano. This piano has the glorious, rich sound and mechanical action that can only be found in the traditional German grand pianos. It is the perfect piano to learn on, and a joy to play.
We warmly welcome students of all ages and levels!
All of our teachers have extensive experience teaching both children and adults of all levels. We are also highly experienced in preparing students for AMEB exams (including theory and musicianship), competitions of all levels (regional, national and international), VCE exams, university music auditions and general performing opportunities.
Please note that SB piano teachers are also offering performance and accompanyment services.
